Platform Fellow

Alter Global is a global tech VC fund that helps scale high-growth tech ventures in emerging markets. We believe that supporting home-grown entrepreneurship is the most effective approach to development. We support our ventures by matching them with part-time, full-time talent, mentorship as well as capital from Silicon Valley.

The role

As Platform Lead, you will be working with some of the best tech entrepreneurs in emerging markets to help scale their ventures. You will be owning the end-to end process of onboarding and adding value to our entrepreneurs, developing long-term value-add relationships, scaling our existing programs and designing new support programs. You will have a front row seat and direct contact to the C-level executives of some of the most innovative ventures across the world and you will be contributing to their growth. You will be working with a mission-driven, performance obsessed A* team that will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally.

Responsibilities include:

Program design and execution

• You will own our Net Promoter Score in key tech ecosystems around the world and will be driving a team towards achieving Platform OKRs.

• You will attract and nurture a pool of exceptional talent from Silicon Valley, while designing a full-time concierge executive placement program with our ventures.

• You will lead on-boarding, coordinate follow-up, scale and improve our value addition processes.

• You will be responsible for designing and creating delightful experiences for our Founders throughout their journey with Alter.

Community and network

• You will leverage and further grow Alter’s network to support our Founders, Fellows and Alumni. You will maintain and scale our network directory and come up with innovative ways to engage our network.

• You will foster community among our Founders through regular updates and events; you will work with marketing to develop engaging content and highlight our Founders to a Silicon Valley audience

• You will lead and scale special industry groups of Founders, gathering insights, bringing in outside partners and working with thought leadership partners to produce industry reports

Partnerships and Events

• You will be on top of all the relevant events and conferences and represent Alter

• You will develop partnerships with external catered to our Founders and community needs

• You are an entrepreneur at heart and love ownership, are scrappy, persistent and have an attitude of “no project is too small or too complex to solve”

• You love building communities and connecting people with opportunities, while also serving as a trusted career advisor/coach

• You love building and designing new programs, are willing to learn, carefully listen to customer needs and immediately execute to fulfill them
