Heba Abu Ahmed

Based in Egypt, Heba is Alter’s Investment Lead for Middle East and Africa. She joined Alter to support tech ecosystems across emerging markets and propel African economies forward through technology.

Before Alter, Heba was an Investment Associate at Global Ventures, where she evaluated and invested in growth stage companies across the region. Prior to that, she was part of the investment teams at Plus VC and Shorooq Partners, where she was actively involved in sourcing deals, building investment theses and launching value creation platforms to support founders.

Heba graduated with a degree in Business Finance from the American University in Cairo, and enjoys traveling, playing soccer, visting art galleries and swimming.
