BukuKas aspires to empower millions of small business owners to go digital and run their businesses more effectively by providing digital and financial solutions that are extremely simple and easy to use. About the Role:

Location: Indonesia

In 2020 we onboarded over 2 million small merchants on our platform in a highly cost efficient way. For 2021 we want to massively grow our user base by 10x by scaling our current products and introducing new ones. We seek to hire a super star Growth Leader who will drive the disruptive transformation in our Growth strategy to achieve this ambitious objective. The successful candidate will have strong experience and track record in leveraging digital product hacks to engineer virality and low cost acquisition and retention of highly engaged users, as well as the ability maximize budget impact through the blending of innovative commercial and marketing approaches.

What will you do?

  • Design and execute strategies to generate substantial incremental uplift in user (and down the line, revenue) growth for Bukukas products, while ensuring high cost-efficiency and user engagement. Such strategies will be holistic in scope, encompassing Product, Commercial and Marketing elements.
  • Build and lead a dedicated Growth Team, including Engineering and Design resources, with the ability to drive growth experiments independently with a high level of agility and output.
  • Work closely with the Founders, Product and Engineering teams to build product-driven virality and growth loops to shape the product to self-grow and improve user retention.
  • Leverage Marketing and Social channels to generate marketing-driven virality, growth and improve retention through a deep understanding of user psychology and behaviors, and the implementation of unconventional, creative and cost efficient initiatives.
  • Effectively deploy the allocated experimentation and commercial budget to maximize impact towards agreed objectives and systematic learning.
  • Collaborate with other key functions to effectively implement larger Growth projects and integrate / scale successful Growth experiments within relevant functions.

Requirements

  • You are a successful Growth Leader with a proven track record of growing digital products through strategic product management.
  • You have grown and scaled other start-ups to mass.
  • You amalgamate analytical skills and product management skills to find and implement creative, unconventional and cost-efficient strategies to expand user base and grow the business.
  • You are familiar with different viral marketing tactics, referral marketing strategy and enjoy researching the world’s fastest-growing start-ups and how they discover and implement killer ideas.
  • You are entrepreneurial and willing to take risks. You learn quickly from failures and get back on your feet stronger than before.
  • You can plan and execute quantitative experiments and A/B tests at an incredible pace, deriving solid insights and drafting clear plans on how to scale successful ones to maximize impact.
  • You are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can make firm decisions under uncertain and highly dynamic conditions.
  • You are highly collaborative and effective in resolving conflicts quickly to avoid stalemates.
